We’re high school sweethearts and homecoming dates who went their own way for college before getting back together for good! We grew up in Texas, currently live in North Carolina, have been married for 7 years and currently are the proud parents to 2 little men, Lane (4) and Cooper (2).
We have lived in 7 placed in the last 10 years. Wow what a blur…Colorado, California, three cities in Texas, currently North Carolina and we’re on the move again. Drew just accepted a position with an OB/GYN group in Wichita Falls, TX but before that, our family is headed to volunteer at Tenwek Hospital in Bomet, Kenya for 5 months starting in the summer of 2017. We can’t wait!
Currently we feel that our family has been called to three main things
- Creating a Christ-centered home
- Fostering kingdom-minded families in our community
- Global medical missions
This blog serves as a place for us to talk about all three. We aren’t experts in any of these areas but hope to share the good, the bad and ugly as we search for what God might have for us as we strive to bring his kingdom to the world, neighborhood and home around us.
